The TCSD Foundation seeks to fulfill its mission by operating the following programs:
Trumansburg Kids Explore & Discover
The Trumansburg Kids Explore & Discover (TKED) Program is a new program operated and funded by the TCSD Foundation in collaboration with the Discovery Trail Partnership and the Trumansburg Central School District to provide curriculum-based learning experiences for Pre-K through 6th grade students at Discovery Trail member sites.
Teacher Grants
Through our Teacher Grants program we award grants to TCSD teachers and community educators for implementing innovative educational projects that benefit Trumansburg students. Proposals designed to enhance the education of TCSD students will be considered provided that the project:
Directly involves and/or benefits Trumansburg students; and
Cannot be funded through the Trumansburg School District Budget.
This program is structured as two grant cycles, one in the spring and one in the fall. See the sidebar for application dates and forms.
Award for Community Service
Each year the TCSD Foundation awards a $250 scholarship to a student graduating from Trumansburg High School that has demonstrated a commitment to community service based on his/her application and advisor recommendations.
