The Trumansburg Fourth Grade Class visited the The History Center in Tompkins County in 2010. In the Slideshow attached to this page are some
pictures from this trip on which Tburg Fourth Graders learned about 19th Century Life in an Eight Square
Schoolhouse. Students learned about local history and how children lived prior to
the Industrial Revolution by attending school for a day in a one room schoolhouse.
With the generous
support of the Elementary PTO, each Fourth Grade Student received a copy of the book The Secret School by Avi.
