Formed in early 2006, the TCSD Foundation is a not-for-profit organization* created to provide financial
support for new and innovative educational programs which broadly impact the growth of Trumansburg Central School District students, inside and outside of
the classroom.
The TCSD Foundation is not directly affiliated with the school district, its budget process, or policies. Rather, the Foundation
is the result of a collaborative effort between parents, alumni, residents, and local business people who wish to see outreach and partnerships within the
community. Similar successful efforts are underway in neighboring communities.
The mission of the TCSD Foundation is to:
- Enhance pre-K through 12 educational and extracurricular opportunities in the district.
- Forge partnerships with friends of the Trumansburg Central School District.
- Raise funds and award grants to foster personal growth and encourage excellence.
The TCSD Foundation can support any not-for-profit organization with a viable program which will benefit students in the district. Programs may be initiated
by the school, a library, a museum, an arts organization, the Foundation itself, or another not-for-profit partner in the community.
